When 30-year-old Daikichi returns home for his grandfather's funeral he learns about the existence of Rin, his grandfather's illegitimate six-year-old daughter by an unknown mother. The girl is an embarrassment to all his relatives and is treated as an outcast. Annoyed by their attitude, Daikichi decides to take care of Rin himself, even though he is single and has no experience raising a child. As Rin becomes part of his life, Daikichi experiences the hardship of a single parent.

Daikichi Kawachi (河地 大吉)

He is a 30-year-old single man and the adoptive guardian of Rin.

With Rin living in his home, Daikichi quits smoking, cleans his house, and reluctantly cuts back on work hours. 

Rin Kaga (鹿賀 りん)

Rin is a six-year-old girl and thought to be the illegitimate daughter of Daikichi's grandfather, Souichi Kaga and manga artist Masako Yoshii.

She likes Daikichi, but is hesitant to pursue a relationship because they are related.

Bunny Drop is a tender and sweety comics. It's very short, but touching about family, friends, and love. You will smile when you read Bunny Drop, and maybe you will believe trust between people you love. The story is a little strange about complicated family connection, like most anime, but reader will accept it because their seems light but deep love, which is everyboby wants. I recommend Bunny Drop for everyone. I think people who read it can pursue simple and actual love, not just look for handsome boys or girls who has full breasts. And, everyone should like Rin Kaga's attitube to love, brave and confident.
